For our next Treason Caucus Spotlight, we've decided to highlight a representative who has recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons: Representative Scott Perry of Pennsylvania.
Last month, Representative Perry gave a speech where he compared Democrats to Nazis and claimed "they want to destroy the country." During his rant, he also said Democrats are disloyal, unpatriotic, and dangerous traitors to America.
That's pretty bold coming from a guy who spread the Big Lie to undermine our democracy and voted against certifying the results of a free and fair election. The real traitor to America is Representative Perry.
Here's the deal: we have a real chance at defeating Representative Perry next year. Joe Biden carried Pennsylvania in 2020, and Perry won re-election by only six points. With redistricting on the horizon, this seat could get even more competitive in the midterms.
