Following a surprisingly successful cycle last year when the GOP almost seized the majority after netting a dozen seats, they are going into 2022 with the advantage.

Recent history of midterm elections in a Democratic president's first term shows the president's party has lost an average of 22 House seats over the past 40 years.

Republicans only have to reclaim a few seats to steal the majority and destroy all of our Democratic progress from the past few months.

The NRCC has already identified at least 47 House Democrat seats that they intend to challenge. And with the GOP controlling much of the redistricting in key battleground states, the newly drawn maps are likely to pose further challenges for Democrats.

But one thing we can count on is that Republicans will be targeting rural districts, which means we can set up our winning strategy to focus on these rural areas right away.
