Justice Democrats

John,

Six months ago, democracy was tested when far-right extremists stormed the Capitol. They wanted to overturn the presidential election results for Donald Trump. Politicians and people across the country continue to spread the lie that the election was stolen from Trump. Voter suppression laws pass right-wing state legislatures as the GOP attempts to regain power in Congress and the White House.

What will our country look like six months from now? A year? 2 years? In 2024 for the next presidential elections? The most critical things Congress can do right now to avoid potentially disastrous elections in 2022 and 2024 are: (1) End the filibuster, and (2) Pass the For The People Act.

The political establishment, especially several Democrats in the Senate, are holding up the urgent changes we need in this country. Justice Democrats won’t stop fighting to end the filibuster and protect our voting rights and elections.

If you’re with us in this urgent fight, please chip in $3 right now. We’re mobilizing to end the filibuster and elect new leaders to change Congress, but we can only do it with your support:

Contribute $3

Mitch McConnell and the GOP blocked the creation of a January 6 Commission to investigate the January 6 attack. He blocked the passage of the For The People Act. If Senate Democrats don’t act right away, they are abdicating their power to Mitch McConnell. It’s that simple. And that’s why Jamaal Bowman called Joe Manchin, one of the Democrats blocking change, the “new Mitch McConnell.”

Any Democrat working to protect the status quo implicitly accepts Mitch McConnell’s obstruction and voter suppression across the country. We are fighting to stop the GOP.

We need your help to push the Senate to end the filibuster and protect voting rights before hitting a crisis point of no return. Donate what you can today to fuel our work to upend the status quo.

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
