New York Times: Supreme Court Upholds Arizona Voting Restrictions
Yesterday, SCOTUS dealt another blow to free and fair elections, narrowing the only remaining section of the 1965 Voting Rights Act and rendering that landmark law effectively useless. They've also, by extension, given GOP legislatures across the country the greenlight to continue their assault on voting rights.
Stacey knows that we will only continue to see these attacks on our democracy unless we do something about them NOW. We've already joined her fight -- now we're hoping you will too.
This decision by Trump's 6-3 conservative majority is yet another obstacle in the path of Stacey's fight to defend our democracy. But now, the GOP has their sights set on Stacey Abrams because they know she's the strongest advocate for voters. They know they have to tear her down, otherwise she'll overthrow their plot to destroy democracy.
The dark money is starting to flow, and our fundraising has dried up. We want to be in this fight alongside Stacey, but if we don't raise $4,500 by Sunday, then Abrams will be ALONE in this fight.
