Tuesday, Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01) joined Fox News to urge Speaker Pelosi to continue probing China on the origins of COVID-19. Rep. "Nancy Pelosi just said any hearing in Congress investigating the origins of COVID-19 is simply a distraction...We owe it to the American people...to get to the bottom of how this happened to prevent it in the future."
Wednesday, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) shed light on the Defund the Police movement. Rep. Malliotakis stated "that crime has skyrocketed in Democrat run cities" and it is Republicans who are on the side of supporting crucial policies that protect both law enforcement officers and citizens. "This year has been extremely difficult for our younger population, many of whom have been restricted to learning and socializing with peers on a computer at home. In addition to higher rates of childhood obesity and domestic violence, we’ve sadly seen some students commit suicide. With our economy opening up and schools resuming in-person instruction next year, our country and city are turning a corner and these funds will only bolster our communities’ efforts to overcome this pandemic."
Thursday, Winning For Women wished Sen. Joni Ernst a happy birthday - and Sen. Chuck Grassley also joined in! Sen. Ernst has been a fierce protector of Iowa farmers and most recently supported a bipartisan bill regarding climate solutions. Read more about the bill here.
