January 6 was one of the darkest days for our nation's democracy. A violent insurrection at the Capitol was incited by Donald Trump and members of the Republican party, followed by 147 Republicans in Congress voting to reject the results of a free and fair election.
Since then, Republicans in Congress have been trying to rewrite history to escape accountability for their role in attacking our democracy -- and it's working. A new poll from Morning Consult found GOP voters who blame Congress for the insurrection has fallen 12% since January. In fact, more Republicans now blame President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats for the insurrection.
If we're going to protect our democracy and ensure January 6 never happens again, we can't let Republicans get away with revising history. That's why here at Never Again PAC, we're working to hold Republicans in Congress accountable and remind voters the role they played in attacking our democracy.
From now until the midterms (and beyond), we're putting the pressure on the 147 members of the Treason Caucus and working to replace them with leaders who will defend our democracy -- but we can't do it without your support.
