June 30, 2021

Dear Neighbors,

I would like to share a brief, but significant, update on ticketing along Connecticut Ave NW: the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) announced that all rush-hour parking restrictions are in effect on Connecticut Avenue NW and that full ticketing enforcement will resume effective immediately. The agency's public notice was published this morning and is available here: 6/30 DDOT Traffic Advisory.

It has been exasperating dealing with DDOT and the Department of Public Works (DPW) on this matter because they have issued conflicting advice and given us a very short turnaround time on what their rules will be. Nevertheless, the agencies have reached a decision and both ticketing and towing have resumed, so it is important to adhere to the current restrictions.

Please help spread the news to Ward 3 neighbors, friends, and visitors.

Regards,

Mary
