June was a frustrating month in Congress for many reasons.

Republicans used the filibuster to block equal pay for women and voting rights. And in the month prior, they blocked a bipartisan commission to study the insurrection of January 6th.

Democrats control the majority in the House, Senate, and the White House. And we are fighting tooth and nail against this GOP obstruction to pass legislation on critical issues like gun violence prevention and police reform. But it’s clear that if we want to accomplish more of the policy priorities the American people need, we’ve also got to focus on securing an even stronger, clearer Democratic majority in the Senate.

That's why I'm taking some time to raise funds before tonight's FEC deadline -- Democrats must retain and expand our majority in Congress next year and beyond.
