On Monday, we launched a strategic new fund to raise money for our 9 Virginia candidates with less cash on hand than their Republican opponents. You stepped up big time.

This week alone, Swing Left and Flippable donors pooled $94,228 for these 9 candidates running in the most competitive races. (That’s almost two-thirds of the cost of an average state legislature race!)

Donations go far at the state level, and every dollar raised went straight to the campaigns. But we still have a ways to go to close these fundraising gaps. Donate to the Virginia Immediate Impact Fund by October 19th to help Democrats win 9 key races, and flip Virginia.

We’ve set a deadline of October 19th, as candidates are working to finalize their budgets for the last few weeks of their campaigns. For some, the money we raise will determine whether or not they can afford a final push on TV and digital ads.

The money you donate to the Immediate Impact Fund goes directly to candidates like Clinton Jenkins, who’s running against a 21-year incumbent with 10x as much cash on hand after the last fundraising report. And Dan Helmer, who’s facing a $120,000 cash deficit while running against the only Republican left in Fairfax County after the 2017 Blue Wave.

Over the course of this election, thousands of you have helped raise over $735,000 directly for Virginia candidates. That’s amazing—if we keep working together, we may finally flip Virginia blue.

But with 24 days to go until Election Day, we have to play smart. These races will be really close, and a last few ad buys could make a difference. Make sure our candidates have the funds they need to win: Donate to the Virginia Immediate Impact Fund by October 19th.
