We are so proud of the campaign staff training programs we have been running since 2013! Lillian's List has trained over 210 people to work on political campaigns and they have made an impact on elections at every level of the ballot both in North Carolina and across the United States. Our trainees have gone on to work at progressive non-profits, government offices, and even run for office themselves!
We are excited to announce that the applications for our 2021 Campaign Camp are now open! Trainees will learn the nuts and bolts of running a campaign and then be put into a job bank for North Carolina progressive campaigns. Trainees will have access to a resource center of materials to help them run strong, modern campaigns. We will also host a job fair for trainees to meet with candidates running in 2022. All trainees must apply by September 15, 2021 and send in a resume. There is a $50 registration fee and scholarships are available.
People of all genders are welcome to apply! We are hoping to train people who are working on a 2021-22 political campaign and people looking for work on a 2022 political campaign.
Campaign Camp is a multi-day training with virtual, pre-recorded, and in-person sessions from November 11-19, 2021. We are closely monitoring COVID guidelines for our in-person sessions and will make changes if necessary. Sessions will cover multichannel fundraising, paid and earned media, polling and targeting, field programs, volunteer management and more!
