This Sunday, we’re hosting our second Presidential Forum in Altoona, Iowa

Dear Friend,

Two weeks ago, the United Food and Commercial Workers, the labor union behind Making Change at Walmart, held its first presidential forum, ever. Members from across the country asked Senators Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren questions about protecting healthcare, creating good jobs, and what their platforms will include for working families.

And one member asked what we thought was a very interesting question:

How would you hold companies like Walmart and Amazon accountable for how they treat their workers?

Walmart’s race to the retail bottom has already destroyed so many jobs that holding major corporations like them accountable is a top priority when it comes to protecting good jobs for this country.

This Sunday, we’re continuing the conversation and hosting our second presidential forum in Altoona, Iowa with Senator Michael Bennet, Vice President Joe Biden, Governor Steve Bullock, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Senator Kamala Harris, and Senator Bernie Sanders (tent.).

Join the conversation.
