 Hi team, Our team at The Fairness Project has won 20 ballot initiative campaigns in just five years, changing over 17 million lives in red, purple, and blue states where out-of-touch politicians refused to act. We’ve made real progress expanding health care, raising wages, and guaranteeing paid leave. But now, the special interests and extremist politicians have seen our wins and are trying to change the rules. They’re attacking democracy. In South Dakota, they’re trying to require 60% to win. In Idaho, they’re making it way more expensive to collect signatures. In other states, they’re requiring signatures to be collected on petitions the size of beach towels! We’re fighting back against these partisan attacks -- but we need your help. On Wednesday, we face one of the biggest fundraising deadlines of the year. We’re setting a goal to raise $5,000 in grassroots donations before midnight on Wednesday so we have what it takes to beat these attacks on our voting rights and keep winning campaigns to change lives.
