Folks, we know a lot of fundraising emails are over the top. That’s why we’re not telling you we’re “crushed” or “devastated.” We’re not “throwing in the towel” or “begging” you for donations.

But we are honestly telling you that our upcoming FEC public reporting deadline is really, really important.

Since day one, this campaign has shattered expectations. But there’s still some skepticism about whether a gay woman minister can win as a Democrat in Western North Carolina because it’s never happened before.

Jasmine can win, and with the early resources to support our organizing efforts, she will. She’s connecting with voters in every corner of the district who are ready for a new leader who listens deeply and delivers results. Your early support means we can expand those organizing efforts to reach even more voters.

But there are still people who want to write off our incredible first FEC report as a fluke. They’re waiting until they see this next one -- our first report that covers a full quarter -- to decide if we’ve got what it takes to go the distance. (Hint: the answer is yes).
