The Washington Post: DeSantis mandates surveys of Florida college students' beliefs

Two weeks ago Florida Governor Ron DeSantis banned public schools from teaching “critical race theory.” Now, DeSantis is taking the next logical step in the GOP's march toward authoritarianism by mandating that college students have their political beliefs recorded and shared with the government.
Let's be clear: DeSantis is making an all out assault on the freedom of speech in an attempt to discriminate and intimidate anyone who doesn't buy into the GOP's far-right authoritarianism.
