Washington Post: Obama endorses Sen. Manchin's voting rights compromise

Friend -- President Obama is taking the lead in the fight to protect voting rights. He joined Stacey Abrams and endorsed Joe Manchin's updates to the For the People Act.

Barack Obama: "We can't take our democracy for granted."

But Mitch McConnell is still standing in our way. In fact, he just blocked the first attempt to even start debate on the bill. Meanwhile, Republican state legislatures keep building Jim Crow 2.0. Unless we increase the pressure RIGHT NOW, the GOP will end democracy as we know it. So President Obama is fighting back.

We have to take action now, but we don't have the resources we need to win.
