Monday, Rep. Young Kim (CA-39) wished long time friend and fellow Congresswoman Michelle Steel (CA-48) a happy birthday! Rep. Kim and Rep. Steel are among the first Korean American women to serve in Congress. They’re two strong Republican women working together side by side!
Tuesday, Rep. Julia Letlow (LA-05), signed onto a letter to protect the Hyde Amendment. The $6 trillion budget proposal from the Biden administration purposefully excludes Hyde Amendment language, which means American taxpayers will be forced to fund elective abortions. Read more here. Also, Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01) joined Fox News to highlight how Democrats have failed to keep their promises to voters. Click below to watch the full interview. "The American people don't support Pelosi's hard-left turn. She has the slimmest majority in Congress in a generation, and she got it by Dems promising voters a moderate and bipartisan agenda. Thursday, Sen. Joni Ernst thanked Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds for her work on the 'Back the Blue' bill to protect law enforcement officers. Between Reynolds and Ernst, women in Iowa have two strong leaders representing them at the state and federal level. Read more about the bill here.

Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) will meet on Thursday with Democrats working on a bipartisan infrastructure framework, as he tries to keep his caucus on track to pass President Biden’s more sweeping plan.

CBS News: Republican Yvette Herrell invites Vice President to southern border again. Congresswoman Yvette Herrell wrote Harris on Tuesday saying the crisis on America's southern border is worsening. Harris has yet to visit the border since being assigned President Biden's Border Czar.
