Here are the numbers that keep me up at night, John:

Last year, Republicans flipped 15 seats in the House, with 13 of them in rural or semi-rural districts. In 2022, they just need to flip five more to take back the majority.

The GOP is completely focused on regaining control of the House. So far, national Republicans have outraised Democrats, and history tells us that they are likely to gain seats next year. If that happens, the progress we worked so hard for is over. Voting rights, reproductive rights, and even our entire democracy.

I’m not using hyperbole to raise money here. This threat is very real, and Republicans will take back the majority if we don’t act now.
