The right-wing recall effort to unseat Gov. Gavin Newsom and steal the governorship officially qualified for the ballot, according to the California Secretary of State’s office.

Republicans are picking up momentum in their shameless power grab to recall Governor Newsom, and we need to stand with him now before it’s too late.

Gov. Gavin Newsom is now just the second governor in our state’s history to face a recall election. The first and only other one up to this point was successful in recalling the sitting governor.

After a few more procedural steps, a date will be set and Californians will vote whether to recall the governor and elect a replacement.

Republicans are lining up to get a fast track to the governor’s office through this recall election, including right-wing celebrity Caitlyn Jenner who is already firing up the Trump donor base.

Now that this recall effort has made it to the ballot, we have to get serious.
