Earlier today, Nancy Pelosi announced that the House will form a committee to investigate the January 6 attack on our Capitol. This is a huge step in the right direction to uncovering the truth, holding the responsible parties accountable, and defending our democracy.

But if history taught us anything, we can expect Republicans to do everything in their power to impede the investigation. Just last month, Senate Republicans blocked the formation of a bipartisan commission to investigate the attacks. They'll do whatever it takes to hide the truth from the American people and escape accountability.

We're grateful that Nancy Pelosi is standing up for our democracy. She is doing what Republicans won't, but if we want to root out violence, hate, and authoritarianism, Donald Trump and the Treason Caucus need to comply.

If we're going to protect our democracy, we can't allow Republicans to cover up the truth about January 6 any longer. Add your name to call on Trump and the Treason Caucus to fully participate in this investigation.
