Every three months, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) mandates that we report on how much money our campaign has raised. This information goes public, and then everyone can see who is succeeding and who is struggling.
Well John, our quarterly deadline is right around a week away, and my team tells me we’re in a $25,000 decificit.
Before June ends, we need to make sure our numbers are as strong as possible. That’s why I’m asking: can you contribute $10 right now to keep us on track?

Here’s why this month’s goal in particular is so important: it’s the first one we’ve had since the Census Bureau announced that New York is losing a House seat. In other words, redistricting is going to change our electorate quite a bit for the midterms, and we need to make sure we’re prepared to run a strong reelection campaign and a strong campaign introducing me to new voters.
Plus, as Chair of the House Oversight Committee, I’m an easy target for my opponents who would love nothing more than to see a powerful woman ousted from office — they’ve got their sights on me already, and we need to counteract them.
In other words, this $25K goal isn’t about some arbitrary target. It’s what we need to keep on going. So can you help us get there before the quarter is over and it’s too late?
