The Republican party long ago abandoned their core principles, allowing their party to be controlled by white supremacists and wannabe-authoritarians.

Kyrsten Sinema is blissfully unaware of that reality.

Sinema's pipe dream of bipartisanship on key issues like voting rights will never happen in any meaningful way with the GOP of today. And it's just as likely McConnell will abandon his opposition to the filibuster as soon as he regains control in the Senate. When that happens, we can say goodbye to ever seeing a Democratic controlled government again.
