As the 48th Governor of the great state of Texas, I’m proud of what we’ve done to deliver on our conservative agenda.
I’ve spent decades fighting for the Rule of Law. Now I’m leading the way to back the blue and prevent liberals from defunding the police, which would do nothing but put the people of Texas and our nation in danger.
A safer America also depends on a secure border. From my many visits to our southern border, I’ve seen firsthand what happens when the President NEGLECTS the border crisis he created. That’s why Texas is taking action in the Biden administration’s absence by advancing historic funding to secure the border and finish construction of the border wall.
Additionally, I’ve always recognized the importance of the Second Amendment. It’s appalling to see Democrats across the nation trying to take away our constitutional rights. That’s why I’ve signed legislation that makes Texas a Second Amendment Sanctuary State. Let’s be clear: in Texas our right to bear arms will always be protected.
Fellow Conservative, I’m extremely proud of our track record, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t more that we can accomplish.
