That’s how long Mitch McConnell let Barack Obama’s pick to replace Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court languish before the nomination expired at the start of the next Congressional term.
Now, McConnell is saying that he would block any of Biden’s SCOTUS nominations in 2024 if he’s back in charge of the Senate.
There is so much at stake in 2022 – including Joe Biden’s legislative AND judicial agenda. Will you rush a donation to save our majorities in Congress? [[link removed]]

The Scalia vacancy on the Court came up nearly a year before Obama’s final term would end – and yet McConnell refused to allow even a hearing on the nomination, citing the fact that he wouldn’t confirm a Supreme Court justice during an election year.
McConnell’s hypocrisy here is breathtaking – he jammed Trump’s nominee to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg through the Senate in the less than 2 months preceding the 2020 presidential election!
From access to healthcare to LGBTQ rights, the Supreme Court’s impact on our day-to-day lives cannot be underestimated. We can’t afford yet another right-wing justice to be added to an already conservative court.
Please donate today to protect our Democratic majorities in Congress. We cannot let Joe Biden’s priorities be derailed by Mitch McConnell’s obstruction. [[link removed]]
