Dear Friend,

Over the course of the last two decades DC JWJ has been part of the fight to raise the DC minimum wage, pass groundbreaking leave policies, and fight wage theft. In all these campaigns, we fought together and won.

Tomorrow, June 23, four movement leaders will join us for a panel discussion looking back at these campaigns and examining their legacy today. Register to join the conversation:

I'll be joined by Carol Joyner of Family Values at Work; Jacob Feinspan of Jews United for Justice; Mat Hanson of DC Action; and Nikki Cole of the Maryland State Education Association.

Tomorrow’s event takes place during our Summer Sustainer Drive, when we’re working to get 65 new people to become DC JWJ monthly sustainers. No matter whether you join us tomorrow night, become a DC JWJ sustainer to power our work in the year ahead:

Tomorrow’s event promises to be a great conversation about fights in the past and our fights right now. Register to join us and we’ll see you there!

Sincerely,

Nikko Bilitza
