John,

As a farmer, I know a thing or two about manure. And what Chuck Grassley and Mitch McConnell are doing right now in the Senate is just that -- bullcrap.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is dead-set on blocking legislation that would help working folks. Just look at his opposition to the American Jobs plan, legislation that would invest in our crumbling infrastructure, provide $225 billion in child care through subsidies to low and middle income families, and expand paid family leave.

Meanwhile Republican Senator Chuck Grassley has raked in $2.7 million from corporate PACs over his 40 years in office, only to leave Iowa’s working families to fend for themselves when faced with economic insecurity and generational disinvestment. That’s what really stinks.

That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate -- because we’ve been putting up with too much crap for too long. If you’re tired of it, and agree that we need real support for working families, can you chip in $5 to help us flip this battleground seat?

The American people have been clear about what they need:

--Good jobs that pay a living wage.
--Health care that won’t bankrupt them.
--Bridges and roads that are safe to drive on.
--High speed internet, even in rural areas.

That’s why we need to get to work passing the American Jobs Plan and so much more, but in order to do that, we need to flip as many Republican-held Senate seats as we can.

It’s time for change, not the same old you-know-what. If you agree, make a donation today so we can flip Chuck Grassley’s Senate seat and start getting s--t done.
