We’re 10 days out from our FEC deadline. Will you chip in $10 -- just $1 per day until the deadline -- to help us hit our goal?

I know, I know. It’s a fundraising tactic. Perhaps it could even be called a gimmick. But here’s the deal:

- We’re facing our first full-quarter public reporting deadline on June 30
- We launched this campaign just four weeks before the last FEC deadline -- and we almost caught up to Madison Cawthorn’s cash on hand
- This public report will reveal if we made up the difference

I can’t begin to explain how proud I am that this people-powered movement nearly caught Cawthorn’s cash on hand. Cawthorn prides himself on his fundraising prowess, and we showed that our grassroots campaign can compete.

Now we need to finish the job and build the momentum that will carry us all the way to Congress.

While this email is a bit cheesy, the consequences of this election couldn’t be more serious. Western North Carolina’s working families are depending on us to elect a leader who will deliver economic relief, secure our democracy, and fight for equality for all.

In just 10 days, we have to prove that we’re running to win. Can I count on you to chip in $10 ahead of this make or break deadline?
