Dear members and allies,

Right now, the Massachusetts legislature can take immediate action to pass a supplemental budget that would create a new MBTA Board with worker and rider representation. Legislators need to know we stand behind a labor seat on the Board, nominated by the MA AFL-CIO – and that we think the rider seat should be nominated by organizations representing environmental justice communities.

Along with real representation on the MBTA Board, we need a reduced fare system for low-income riders so everyone can afford to get where they are going.

You can take action now to make this a reality! Click here to email or call your legislator today. ([link removed])
