MITCH MCONNELL: JOHN LEWIS VOTING RIGHTS ACT IS “UNNECESSARY”

We can’t believe what we just read.

When Mitch McConnell was asked if he supported the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, he said NO.

Even worse: Mitch McConnell called this vital legislation completely “unnecessary.”

It’s downright shameful.

Top Republicans across the country are blatantly admitting they don’t care about protecting our right to vote -- in fact, they’re actively working AGAINST all our efforts to expand voting rights.

Our work just got that much more important.

If we can register enough voters, we can FLIP the last red strongholds in California blue, EXPAND our Democratic Majority and DENY Mitch McConnell the power to block Democrats' work for good.
