ON THIS DAY, DHS confirms the separation of 2,000 children from their parents at the border.

Three years ago today, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that at least 2,000 children had been ripped away from their families at the border due to the Trump administration's cruel family separation policy. Now we know the true damage was even worse. Just last week, we learned that over 2,000 children still have not been reunited with their families.
