Did you see this, John?
The New York Daily News just published an op-ed by Mondaire and Andrea Stewart-Cousins on why we need to pass the For the People Act and resist racist attempts at voter suppression.
Give the article a read here, and then, if you’re able, make a contribution to Mondaire’s re-election campaign so he can stay in Congress fighting for voting rights for all Americans.
Reforms like automatic voter registration, public financing for campaigns, and ending voter roll purges are key tenets of the For the People Act that will go a long way in protecting our democracy.
But Republicans in Congress are filibustering to prevent its passage — and GOP-majority legislators across the country have been making it more difficult to vote for years by purging voter rolls, instituting arbitrary voter ID laws, and even making it illegal to bring food and water to people waiting in line to vote.
We’re proud of Mondaire for supporting the For the People Act and speaking out against voter suppression.
Read his article in the New York Daily News, and then, if you’re able, make a contribution to his re-election campaign today.
Thank you, as always, for your support.
All our best,
Team Mondaire
