As I monitor our fundraising efforts and talk to Democrats who are running for office, I’m seeing a worrying trend: Democrats are less engaged this year even as the Republican efforts to take back the majority gain momentum.

A recent poll shows that Republicans are more enthusiastic about the 2022 midterms than Democrats—by double digits:
