It’s astounding what lengths Texas Republicans have gone to in their attempts to dismantle our democracy.

Texas Republicans added a provision to their anti-voting bill, SB7, which would have allowed elections to be overturned by a judge even if voter fraud couldn’t be proven. Now after they defended the provision, Republicans are claiming they don’t know how this astoundingly anti-democratic provision got into the bill.

It’s terrifying how close Texas Republicans came to completely undermining our elections. I’m thankful for the Texas House Democrats for doing everything they could to block it.
