There’s so much going on in the world that kids often don’t have the opportunity to just be kids anymore. Community Action provides structured summer camps at the Merrill Community Center to allow Beloit kids to play, interact and learn while they take a break from the stress of their everyday lives.
At the Merrill Community Center Summer Camp, we’ve created a space where parents know their children are nurtured and cared for. At our day camp, kids do not have to worry about necessities; they can focus on fun and friendship. We build kids' self-efficacy, so each child develops a strong belief in their ability to set and achieve goals; so that each child knows the value of life and understands their self-worth.
We cannot do it alone. We need your help.
