Initially, we set out to uncover the truth about Senator Marco Rubio, knowing that once we got past the Primary Election, we'd have a Democratic candidate who would need our support.

What we didn't expect, was to endorse a candidate this early. But, we have a clear front-runner – both from the polls we shared with all of you, and in terms of viability against Sen. Marco Rubio.

It's my distinct pleasure to endorse Val Demings for U.S. Senate.

• Val brings a new perspective to the Senate. She was the first in her family to graduate college, worked as a social worker, then started her 27-year career with the Orlando Police Department. 
• She was the impeachment manager in Trump's first impeachment case. An impeachment Marco Rubio voted against.
• Val is the best chance we've had in years to take a Senate seat in Florida – and is the ONLY candidate capable of retiring Rubio.

Despite all this, she's up against tremendous odds between the GOP, the slimy things Marco is willing to do to win, and dark money from organizations like the NRA.

We cannot allow another election to be bought for Marco Rubio.
