The Washington Post released Dr. Fauci's emails from March and April 2020. Among the chaotic emails from the early days of the pandemic lies a terrifying reality: Republicans knew their president was endangering our country.
In April 2020, a senior House Republican emailed Fauci to say, “Keep being a science truth teller.” Instead of standing up to their president, the feckless GOP allowed the country to descend into chaos.
That chaos can now be defined by Donald Trump Jr. “joking” about murdering Dr. Fauci. And if we've learned anything from the January 6th insurrection it's that the online threats of the far-right should never be taken for granted.
Now, the growing chorus of congressional Trump-sycophants like Marjorie Taylor Greene are using Dr. Fauci as a punching bag to rake in millions of dollars in campaign cash and to grow their national appeal.
