Remember Louis DeJoy?

Trump’s handpicked Postmaster General made headlines last year for dismantling the USPS from the inside at the height of the pandemic and with an election that would rely heavily on voting by mail just months away.

Here in Oakland, the USPS tried to remove up to a dozen collection boxes downtown supposedly due to “protest related violence.”

John, DeJoy is back in the news for being at the center of an FBI investigation into an illegal campaign finance racket he's alleged to have taken part in to promote Republicans.

We knew long before this scandal was unearthed that Louis DeJoy was unfit to adequately lead the USPS. But now, it’s clear he should not serve one more day as Postmaster General. Sign on to demand his immediate removal from office:

Louis DeJoy was a longtime Republican mega-donor before serving as Postmaster General. But his commitment to funding GOP campaigns ran even deeper, according to a report from the Washington Post.

An investigation alleges that DeJoy would pressure employees at a former company to donate to Republican candidates, rewarding them with pay bonuses.

These are serious allegations. And if DeJoy won’t resign himself, the USPS Board of Governors must take matters into their own hands and remove him.
