C. Nicole Mason, President and CEO of the Institute for Women’s Policy Research, will join Sheryl Sandberg, founder of Lean In, for a Facebook Live question and answer session on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 7:10p.m. ET.
Mason will share her own personal leadership journey, IWPR’s latest research, and insights on how to put women at the forefront of the economic recovery.

“The recovery from the Great Recession was not inclusive. Even before the pandemic, too many women were stuck in low-paying jobs,” said C. Nicole Mason of IWPR. “Black women, Latinas, and younger women were hit especially hard by this pandemic, and in order to improve life for them and for their families, we need bold action—including universal child care, paid family leave, and pathways to higher-paying careers for under-employed women.”
