Monday, W4W and GOP Congresswomen from all across the country honored and remembered the men, women, and families who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Tuesday, Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (WV) visited President Biden in the Oval Office for a crucial meeting to discuss infrastructure. Sen. Capito has been leading the effort to scale back the excessive package so that it focuses on core infrastructure needs, like fixing our roads and expanding broadband. Wednesday, Rep. Nancy Mace's (SC-01) home was vandalized by pro-labor organizers. “If whoever did this, vandalize my home, thinks that I’m going to be intimidated by this kind of action.. they can think again because I’m not gonna stop working for the people that have elected me to do a job. That means I got to take strong stances, ask tough questions, be upfront and help lead us out of this pandemic and do the right thing for this country."

Axios: COVID-19 cases hit lowest point in U.S. since pandemic began. Nearly every week for the past 56 weeks, Axios has tracked the change — more often than not, the increase — in new COVID-19 infections. Those case counts are now so low, the virus is so well contained, that this will be our final weekly map.
Wall Street Journal: Pennsylvania Republicans Call for Election Audit Similar to Arizona’s. Pennsylvania GOP lawmakers visited an ongoing Republican-ordered audit of 2020 ballots here Wednesday and called for their state to conduct a similar review, the latest sign that political fighting over last year’s election is far from over.
The Hill: Biden, top GOP negotiator agree to continue infrastructure talks Friday. President Biden and Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.), the lead Republican negotiator on infrastructure talks, met for about an hour at the White House on Wednesday and made plans to speak later this week as the two sides discuss a potential bipartisan agreement.
Fox News: Noem denied in bid for July 4th Mt. Rushmore fireworks: Radical left 'doesn't want to celebrate America'. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem vowed on "Fox & Friends" Thursday to appeal a court ruling that upheld the Biden administration’s decision to cancel a Fourth of July fireworks show at Mount Rushmore.

Democratic state legislators in Texas staged a dramatic walk-out Sunday night to prevent the immediate passage of a Republican elections bill that would make it harder for some residents to vote.
