We defeated the special interests and out-of-touch politicians who had ignored those in-need for nearly a decade, we helped Oklahoma voters take matters into their own hands -- and we won. And now, our hard work begins to pay off. This week, Oklahomans can begin enrolling in Medicaid expansion. This is all thanks to the support of people like you, friend. Together, we knew we could cut through the polarization and the gridlock and win real change -- and we did. And now, lives will be changed thanks to our hard work. Elections Matter.
We’ve won Medicaid expansion in six red and purple states when politicians refuse to act, because Americans everywhere want more health care, not less. But we’re not done yet. We’re running a campaign in South Dakota to win Medicaid expansion at the ballot box in 2022. And now, the special interests and extreme politicians are trying to change the rules after they saw our wins. They’re trying to make it harder to collect signatures and win ballot initiatives. They want to silence the people, to suppress our voting rights. We’re celebrating this week, but we’re also preparing to fight harder than ever to beat the attacks and keep winning ballot initiative campaigns to change more lives.
