Join us on Tuesday, June 8, 2021
for our next 25th anniversary celebration -- a conversation with DC's own Taraji P. Henson!

Please join us for an evening with Ms. Henson. We will learn about mental health and the impact of trauma, the pandemic, and systemic racism on Black children and youth -- and discuss ways we can come together and take action to solve DC's behavioral health crisis.

Sponsor or buy a ticket before Monday,
and we will donate a book to a child!

We are proud to honor Ms. Henson as a 2021 DISTINGUISHED CHILD ADVOCATE for her tremendous work through the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, which she founded in honor of her father with the goal of eradicating the stigma around mental health issues in the African-American community.
This is Part 1 of our 2021 Helping Children Soar Benefit, with Part 2 coming this fall!

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE. Sponsors and ticket buyers will receive a link to join the event via Remo, an interactive virtual platform. Pre-event networking begins at 5:45pm EDT, followed by the program and live Q&A with Ms. Henson at 6:15pm EDT. There will also be an opportunity for post-event networking. Click here for more information about sponsorship opportunities or to purchase tickets today.

The program, minus the networking and live Q&A, will also be available at 6:15pm EDT on www.helpingchildrensoar.org.

PLUS, if you sponsor or buy a ticket before Monday at 10am EDT --
we will donate a book to a child!

We look forward to seeing you next week!
