Democrats across the country are taking a stand. When the Texas GOP tried to force through a voter suppression bill in the state legislature, the Texas Democrats worked together and took bold action by refusing to be a part of Jim Crow 2.0, defeating the GOP bill for now.
Now Stacey Abrams is demanding that Democrats in Congress follow suit.
This is what happens when Democrats stand up as one. If every Democrat in Congress could come together and do whatever it takes, we could pass the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, permanently ending the GOP's Jim Crow 2.0 plans.
When Democrats Turn Out is taking Stacey's advice and supporting Democrats who are committed to ending the filibuster and passing voter protection laws. We are $690 away from our goal, and if we don't hit it then we can't keep the pressure on moderate Democrats who are hesitating to take bold action.
