Participant Spotlight: John M.
John M. participates in The Longest Day to honor his wife, Robin, who
is living with younger-onset Alzheimer's. He is rowing for 24
hours to represent his caregiving journey. "You begin the
journey with a lot of energy, but soon realize you need help and
support," he says. John is grateful for the support he's
received from the Alzheimer's Association® - beginning
with his first call to the Association's free 24/7 Helpline
(800.272.3900). "I am dedicating my efforts to all of the
caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's who have much more difficult
situations than I do, and much less support from family and
friends," John says.
