After a violent mob stormed the Capitol on January 6, Democrats worked to form a bipartisan commission to uncover what really happened that day. But unsurprisingly, many Republicans want to hide the truth.

Just take a look at what Mitch McConnell had to say:

"After careful consideration. I’ve made the decision to oppose the House Democrats [...] proposal for another commission to study the events of January the 6th"

Mitch McConnell openly opposed an investigation and other Republicans followed suit. The blocking of this commission is just the latest step taken by Congressional Republicans to downplay and dismiss the serious attack on our democracy.

We deserve leadership that will work to uphold and protect our democracy, not undermine it. Chip in before our end-of-month deadline to help us replace these radical and dangerous Republicans in Congress.

The American people deserve to know the full truth about the events that occurred on January 6 and the parties involved. This commission would have been a step toward ensuring something like this never happens again, but Republicans continue to be more concerned with protecting their own interests and following orders of Donald Trump.

The only way we'll root out Trumpism and American Fascism is by working together at the ballot box to replace these dangerous Republican members of Congress. Will you help us do it?
