** It's a Race!
------------------------------------------------------------

Dear John
I'm excited to share with you that we have two contestants in the race to be the PPC candidate in Nipissing-Timiskaming for the next federal election.

If you are a paid-up member of the PPC, you will be able to vote for the candidate of your choice at our Virtual Nomination Meeting on Friday, June 25th at 7 pm. The meeting will be held online via Zoom and the link to the meeting will be sent to members in good standing one week in advance.

So make sure your membership is current. If you need to renew, you can do so online here ([link removed]) . Information to renew by mail is also available here ([link removed]) .

Now to meet our two candidates.

Greg Galante is 55 years old, of Italian and Metis/Algonquin heritage. Greg has been a resident of the riding for almost 7 years, and has been a recreational property owner in the riding for nearly 22 yrs. As a founding member of the PPC he served as a director on the riding board during the last election. Recently retired after a 30 year career with the Toronto Fire Service where he attained the rank of Captain, Greg also served in the Canadian Army from 1983-88 with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada. Greg is deeply interested in Constitutional, Charter of Rights, First Nation, National Defence, and Public Safety issues. He believes with his vast experience as a first responder, trainer, policy developer and leader he is well suited to serve the people of Nipissing Temiskaming.

Xander Miller is 42 years old. He originally moved to North Bay at the age of 13. He then attended Widdifield Secondary School, before moving to Ottawa to attend Carleton University where he graduated with degrees in Philosophy, and Cognitive Science. Xander is a software developer. He and his wife have chosen to return to the riding of Nipissing-Timiskaming to raise their children. Xander has recently returned from Ottawa; now his goal is to bring responsibility and decision making out of Ottawa and return it to the riding.

You'll likely be hearing from the candidates over the coming weeks. Please give them a few minutes of your time to learn more about them and their vision for Canada.

Your vote is important! The future of the country may depend on it.

Sincerely,

Craig Dellandrea
Nipissing-Timiskaming PPC EDA
