Friend, I want to thank you for taking the time to take my Voter Survey.
It’s clear, based on all your thoughtful responses, that you’re disgusted watching Republicans across the country work to suppress our right to vote.
And Friend, I wanted to make sure you saw exactly what we’re up against:
FIRST: Georgia passed one of the most restrictive voter suppression laws in the country -- even making it ILLEGAL to hand out water to voters waiting in line.
THEN: Texas passed a bill that would make it a FELONY to preemptively provide vote-by-mail ballots to voters.
NOW: Arizona’s Republican governor just signed into law a bill that would PURGE infrequent mail voters from the state’s ballot list.
That’s why I’m rushing to you right now. I’m counting on 2,000 grassroots Democrats to take a stand and CONDEMN these anti-democracy Republicans immediately. >>
Friend, Republicans in 47 states (including our very own California!) have introduced voter suppression bills to stifle diverse voices and limit our democracy.
I can’t for one second let these Republicans get away with it.
