Fort Morgan Times: The pathway to Republican victories and regaining legislative majorities in Colorado will be derived from a 10-point agenda of key positions that will soon be released by the state party, and which candidates will be asked to honor.
“It will be 10 things voters can count on from Republicans they elect,” Colorado Republican Party Chair Kristi Burton Brown said. “These are 10 things you are going to see changed.”
During a Colorado Republican Party forum she said was attended by Republicans from numerous counties surrounding Larimer and Weld, Burton Brown hinted that school choice and a pledge toward lowering property tax could be among those items.
“We’re going to say of Democrats, you do not deliver on school choice. You do not deliver on property tax,” Burton Brown said. “We’re going to speak for children and parents, and for property owners.”
Burton Brown previously authored a letter to Colorado Democratic Party Chair Morgan Carroll asking for her to join in support of school choice.
Support of seniors could be among the other items. Burton Brown relayed that many seniors are leaving their homes and the state of Colorado.
