The youth climate strike in September was reinvigorating. It brought new momentum and life into our climate movement.

Now it's our chance to escalate the fights against the fossil fuel industry and corrupt politicians that allow pollution in our neighborhoods and climate catastrophe on our planet.

We are building a unity movement here in MA to build the transformational change that we need to see. A future with environmental justice, 100% renewable energy for all, and good, clean jobs. ** Honk Parade 2019
------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone is welcome to join 350 Mass members at the 2019 Honk Parade in Somerville. We will meet at 11:00 in Davis Square in the parking lot at the corner of Herbert and Day Street, behind the post office. The march to Harvard Square begins at 12:00 and 350 Mass will be near the beginning of the parade. This year the Honk Parade will end with a "Die In," demanding action on housing, immigration and the climate emergency. The Die In will occur in front of the stage in Harvard Square once all participants have arrived.

Bring banners, signs, costumes, 350 t-shirts, kazoos, your dancing shoes, and plan to party and "die" with fellow 350 activists! There will also be skill share workshops for community groups and musicians at First Church and Main Stage band performances. Sign a Petition in Support of Massachusetts House Bill 897, An Act Relative to Forest Protection: Sponsored by Representative Susannah Whipps, H. 897 would protect all state conservation land as parks or reserves where forest ecosystems are guided primarily by natural processes.
