This Friday, U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer joins National Constitution Center President and CEO Jeffrey Rosen to discuss the Constitution, civil discourse, and the courts. This student-focused program is an excellent way to wrap up your school year.
The Last Week of Scholar Exchanges
Constitutional Battles of the Branches
In this session, students will:
  • Explore the separation of powers and how the Constitution set up a system of checks and balances between the different branches of government
  • Learn about how separation of powers has been tested over time
  • Examine historical examples like Andrew Jackson and the battle over the country’s national bank to modern conversations around COVID-19

There's Still Time for Field Trips
The Center’s NEW Virtual Museum Experience includes signature features of the on-site experience. Highlights include LIVE INTERACTIVE TOURS of key spaces including the iconic Signers’ Hall and our newest exhibit, The 19th Amendment: How Women Won the Vote.

Participants can join from the classroom or from home through a secure Zoom link and will be provided with all of the necessary resources.
