John—
Last week, the Washington Post published a “lifestyle” article describing Brett Kavanaugh’s “sad” lack of a social life in D.C. — about how he can’t even go to restaurants without facing the possibility of confrontation.1
That must be so hard for him.
Meanwhile, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford hasn’t been able to return to work since her testimony over a year ago. She’s been forced to relocate four times out of fear for her family’s safety. And to this day, she still receives death threats.2 On her behalf, on behalf of all survivors, and on behalf of the American people, one year later, I’m still enraged.
But it's not enough to get mad — we must turn our anger into action. With the Supreme Court now taking up June Medical Services LLC v. Gee, the first abortion case that the court will hear on the merits since Kavanaugh’s confirmation, we need to take every bit of outrage and frustration we feel right now and re-commit ourselves to creating the change this country so desperately needs: reproductive freedom for all.
Before the day runs out, will you make a gift — whatever you can — to help expand our organizing efforts in key states like Maine, Iowa, Michigan, and Colorado to win in 2020?
We can make sure ideologues like Brett Kavanaugh are never again put in a position to decide the fate of reproductive freedom in America — and it starts with defeating Trump, taking back the Senate, holding the House, and helping pro-choice champions win up and down the ballot.
Since Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, NARAL supporters have stepped up in some incredible ways, donating your time, money, and expertise to prepare us for 2020. That battle is already here — and I'm ready to fight like hell. Can I count you in too, John?
Forward,

Ilyse Hogue President, NARAL Pro-Choice America
