Friend, Today, in my conversation with Rika Tyler, we share memories about our time in Ferguson during the uprising. We met at a time when our lives were at risk because of the military style response of local police forces to peaceful protestors. Fortunately, love is more powerful than fear. As we organized in Ferguson we were surrounded by people committed to justice and constantly reminding us of the joyful, loving communities we were protesting to protect. In our conversation, we share our memories and discuss how it influences our work today. |
